In my kindergarten class, part of our morning routine is a question of the day. This was going great until I realized that most children were simply answering the same way as their close friends. I used this book to introduce the idea that we all have our own opinions and that not everyone agrees. More importantly... that it's okay to disagree. I can easily see myself using this as a mentor text when we move into opinion writing later on in the year. Great book!!
