About the Author
- As president of Ethical Leaders in Action, Chad Weinstein helps leaders in public safety, health care, and business organizations apply a positive perspective on ethics in their leadership, building stronger relationships and driving organizational performance. Prior to beginning this work in 2007, Dr. Weinstein was a consultant in the private sector for more than 20 years, working with Fortune 1000 companies in industries ranging from mining and petroleum extraction to pharmaceuticals and accounting. Dr. Weinstein also is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Minnesota and Metropolitan State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy (Ethics) from the University of Minnesota.

There are a lot of leadership tomes that focus on theories and summaries. This book is practical wisdom and plenty of it. No matter the theory or school of thought, all leaders know that implementation never fits neatly into a script. Chad Weinstein has devoted a good portion of his career to the study of leadership in the wild. In this book, he weaves stories from his and others' experiences that transport the reader/leader through the experiences. Any leader can identify with the narratives. The stories are brief, but informative, engaging and motivating. The reader's thinking and imagination are provoked with questions. The learning is subconscious and automatic. Get it, read it, enjoy it. Painless learning - the best kind. TW
